The patient file holds their details and every visit, so the doctor can review previous examinations and prescriptions before writing a new one. Visits and prescriptions are saved in the file, and prescriptions can be printed with the clinic’s header.
Doctors and insurance companies are set up in the system, so each visit is billed to the patient or to the insurer as appropriate. The clinic system includes general accounting: revenue per doctor, expenses, the cash drawer and account statements, so you know the clinic’s real income.
