How to set product components and unit cost on the item card in Smart Pro
Set a product as a “prepared item”, add its raw materials and quantities per unit in the “Components & Cost” tab, and let the system calculate the unit cost from its components.
Steps in this video

Open the “Cotton T-shirt” product card from the item catalogue

Click “Edit” and set the item type to “Prepared item”
- 3
In the “Components & Cost” tab, add the raw materials
- 4
Per piece: 1.2 m of fabric + thread + 3 buttons + a bag
- 5
Click “Save” — the components are stored on the card
- 6
The unit cost from its components: exactly EGP 108.25
