How to hold a takeaway order and reopen it in Smart Pro for restaurants
Hold a customer’s order with a name and note, serve another order, then reopen it for payment with all its items and close it.

A takeaway order: add the items

Customer will finish later? Click “Hold”

Give the order a name and a note
- 4
Hold the invoice — the basket clears for the next order
- 5
All held orders are kept here
- 6
Click “Open for payment” — the order returns with its items
- 7
Pay: enter the amount and the change is calculated
- 8
Confirm — the order is closed and removed from held
